Echobreaker Brings Neon-Soaked Cyberpunk Action to August

Echobreaker, a fast-paced cyberpunk action platformer from publisher Weekend Games and developer Upstream Arcade, now has an official release date. The game is set to launch for Windows PC on August 6.

Built around speed, precision, and high-risk movement, Echobreaker puts players inside a heavily armored combat rig as they take on dangerous test courses created by TDS Industries. Your mission is simple on paper: reach the end of each course as quickly as possible. In practice, every level is designed to push your reflexes, timing, and decision-making to the limit.

Set inside a neon-soaked sci-fi facility, Echobreaker blends platforming, combat, and time-manipulation mechanics into a competitive race against the clock. Players will need to master each track, discover the fastest routes, and use every tool available to climb the global leaderboard.

The game’s courses are not just obstacle runs. They are built to feel like real combat simulations, complete with enemies, hazards, and risky paths that reward bold play. Taking down enemies can provide explosive bursts of speed, giving skilled players a way to maintain momentum and cut valuable seconds from their time.

At the center of Echobreaker’s gameplay is the Temporal Echo Drive, a powerful but unstable system installed in your combat rig. This device allows players to enter Echo State, slowing time during key moments and making difficult jumps, landings, and maneuvers more manageable. Combined with time-bending power-ups and double-jump abilities, the system gives players multiple ways to experiment with movement and perfect their runs.

Echobreaker is designed for players who enjoy mastering levels through repetition, precision, and creativity. Each course works like a high-speed puzzle, encouraging you to search for the cleanest line, the fastest shortcut, and the most efficient way to chain movement, combat, and time control together.

The game will feature 15 tracks, each built to challenge players in different ways. Whether you are chasing your own best time, racing against your ghost, earning badges, or competing for the top spot on the global leaderboard, Echobreaker aims to deliver a strong sense of progression and replayability.

Key features include fast cyberpunk platforming, time-manipulation abilities, explosive combat-based speed boosts, competitive leaderboards, ghost racing, and stylish neon environments. With its focus on flow, mastery, and speedrunning-style gameplay, Echobreaker is shaping up to be an exciting choice for fans of challenging sci-fi action games.
