Dosa Divas Serves Up a Sizzling April Launch on PC and Consoles

Outerloop Games has officially locked in a release date for Dosa Divas: One Last Meal, a spicy narrative-driven turn-based RPG that mixes heartfelt storytelling with flavorful combat and food-focused mechanics.

Dosa Divas: One Last Meal launches April 14 on Windows PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PlayStation 5.

The game follows sisters Samara and Amani, reuniting after years apart and setting off on a journey inside an ancient spirit-mech known as Goddess. Their goal isn’t just to win fights—it’s to push back against a rotten fast food empire that’s stripping communities of their traditions. Along the way, you’ll travel through vibrant villages, clash with corporate goons, reconnect with people from the sisters’ past, and build toward an emotional “one last meal together” before saying goodbye.

One of the biggest hooks is its “taste-first” combat system. Battles are turn-based, but timing still matters: hit the action button right as an attack lands to boost damage, and time defenses to strengthen blocks against incoming hits. At the start of each turn, you can spend boost points to multiply the impact of attacks and skills, helping you set up big momentum swings. Each character also taps into Spirit Power, unlocking class-based abilities tied to five distinct “flavor profiles.” Matching those flavors to what enemies crave can break down defenses faster, letting you pile on damage. If you like building toward big payoffs, each round also fills an Ultimate meter that unleashes powerful group ultimates when it’s ready.

Exploration is built around the spirit-mech Goddess, turning travel into what the studio calls “mech-sploration.” You’ll move through different villages using mobility tools like double-jumps, drilling, and grappling, with plenty to discover along the way—local ingredients, hidden routes, memories, and new allies.

Food isn’t just part of the theme; it’s core to progression. An expressive cooking system lets you prepare made-to-order meals designed to snap villagers out of a processed-food haze. You’ll gather ingredients by foraging, fishing, and bartering, then cook and deliver hearty dishes that help reconnect communities with their culture, history, and shared memories. Helping people this way builds your reputation, and a higher reputation brings meaningful perks and advancement.

Food also plays directly into combat with quick-bite options that function like battle boosts. Ingredient effects can be used to tweak recipes and create fragrant dishes that restore health, increase damage, fortify defense, or replenish Spirit Power—giving you more ways to adapt when fights get tough.

To round it out, the game includes customization for Goddess, letting you mix and match parts like the body, arms, and legs, and personalize the look with wraps and accessories. It’s a style layer on top of the exploration upgrades, letting your mech feel like your own as the story heats up.

With its blend of turn-based strategy, timed inputs, mech traversal, and cooking-driven storytelling, Dosa Divas: One Last Meal is shaping up to be a distinct RPG for players who want combat depth, cozy community elements, and a narrative centered on family, tradition, and food.
