Japanese developer Sting is reviving a beloved classic with Dokapon 3-2-1 Super Collection!, a re-release that gathers three Super Famicom-era entries from the original trilogy into one package. It’s a nostalgia-packed celebration with modern touches designed to make replaying these adventures faster and more flexible.
Included titles:
– Dokapon 3・2・1 – Arashi o Yobu Yuujou (1994, Super Famicom)
– Kessen! Dokapon Oukoku IV: Densetsu no Yuusha Tachi (1993, Super Famicom)
– Dokapon Gaiden: Honoo no Audition (1995, Super Famicom)
Each game in the collection adds quality-of-life upgrades such as a Double Speed Mode for snappier sessions and a Manual Mode, giving players added control over how they play. The collection also features fresh title character illustrations by Ami Shibata, bringing new style to classic adventures.
For now, this announcement is focused on Japan, and a western release has not been confirmed. If you’ve been waiting to revisit the Super Famicom Dokapon titles—or discover them for the first time—this collection aims to deliver the definitive way to experience the original trilogy, enhanced with modern conveniences and new artwork.
