Caviar Unveils $13,130 iPhone 17 Pro With a Built-In Geiger Counter
Caviar has introduced one of its most unusual luxury iPhone creations yet: the “Geiger,” a customized iPhone 17 Pro with a fully functional radiation detector built directly into its back panel.
Starting at $13,130, this limited-edition iPhone 17 Pro is designed for collectors, luxury tech enthusiasts, and anyone drawn to high-end devices with a dramatic industrial edge. Instead of Apple’s standard glass rear panel, the Geiger model features a rugged titanium shell fitted with a SIG-RM1208 Geiger-Müller counter, allowing the phone to measure real-time gamma radiation levels in the surrounding environment.
The built-in radiation monitor is not just a visual gimmick or app-based feature. It is a physical dosimeter integrated into the device’s chassis. A small digital display shows live radiation readings, while an alert function can emit a warning sound if levels exceed a preset limit. This gives the iPhone 17 Pro Geiger a practical scientific element rarely seen in luxury smartphone customization.
Caviar’s design gives the device a strong industrial appearance. The titanium back includes exposed screws, thick metal sections, and a bold red line running through the center. Near the bottom, a sculpted radiation hazard symbol reinforces the theme and makes the phone instantly recognizable.

The base price applies to the 256GB iPhone 17 Pro version, while buyers can choose higher storage options or upgrade to the larger iPhone 17 Pro Max for an additional cost.
