Casio’s Rugged Triple Sensor Mudmaster Watch Lands in the US

Casio G-Shock Mudmaster “Magma Gold” Launches in the US With Lava-Inspired Styling and Premium Outdoor Features

Casio has introduced a striking new addition to its rugged G-Shock Mudmaster lineup in the United States. The GWGB1000MG19, better known as the “Magma Gold” Mudmaster, is now available with a retail price of $900, bringing together bold volcanic-inspired design, premium materials, and a serious set of outdoor-focused tools.

The new Casio Mudmaster takes its visual identity from flowing lava and cooling rock. Its dark, tough exterior is contrasted by a gold ion-plated bezel, while the dial uses vivid red and orange accents on the hands and indexes to create the look of molten magma glowing beneath the surface. The result is a watch that feels aggressive, rugged, and unmistakably premium.

One of the standout design elements is the band. Casio uses a special mixed-resin molding process to create a marbled pattern, giving each strap a layered appearance reminiscent of geological formations. This helps reinforce the watch’s volcanic theme while giving it a more unique look than a standard black resin G-Shock.

Built for demanding outdoor conditions, the GWGB1000MG19 uses a precision-forged black metal case combined with Casio’s Carbon Core Guard structure. Bio-based resin is also used in the construction, adding a more sustainable touch without compromising durability. As expected from a Mudmaster, this is a large and substantial watch, measuring 58.7 × 52.1 × 16.2 mm and weighing 114 g.

The feature list is extensive. The Casio G-Shock Mudmaster “Magma Gold” includes a Triple Sensor setup with compass, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer functions, making it suitable for hiking, field work, exploration, and other outdoor activities. It also comes with Tough Solar charging, Multi-Band 6 radio time calibration, and Bluetooth smartphone connectivity for added convenience.

Casio has also equipped the watch with a Location Indicator function, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, DLC-treated stainless steel components, and 200-meter water resistance. These features place the model firmly in the high-end section of the Master of G range.

Like other Mudmaster watches, the GWGB1000MG19 is designed to handle mud, dust, shock, and harsh terrain. Mud-resistant buttons and a screw-lock crown help keep dirt and debris from entering the case, making it a dependable option for users who need a watch that can survive rough environments.

At $900, the Casio G-Shock Mudmaster “Magma Gold” is clearly aimed at collectors and outdoor watch enthusiasts who want more than a basic rugged timepiece. With its lava-inspired color scheme, premium construction, solar-powered technology, advanced sensors, and limited edition packaging, it stands out as one of the more visually dramatic Mudmaster releases in the current lineup.
