Casio and Jae Tips Return With a Translucent Teal G-Shock “What Time You On? 2.0”
Casio G-Shock is teaming up once again with Bronx designer Jae Tips for a fresh take on the iconic DW-6900. The new collaboration, titled “What Time You On? 2.0,” brings back the bold personality of the first release while introducing a vibrant translucent teal design that instantly stands out.
The new Jae Tips x Casio G-Shock will make its debut at ComplexCon Los Angeles on October 3 and 4. However, fans should know that this release will be available as a preorder only at the event. That means buyers can place an order at the Savior by Jae Tips booth, but they will not be able to take the watch home from the convention floor.
For those who cannot attend ComplexCon LA, a limited online release is also scheduled for October 3 through Savior Worldwide.
Jae Tips, the creative force behind Savior Worldwide, has built a strong reputation through colorful and expressive collaborations across footwear and streetwear. His past projects have included major names in sneakers, apparel, and headwear, and his latest G-Shock continues that same playful design language.
The watch is based on the Casio G-Shock DW-6900, one of the brand’s most recognizable digital watch silhouettes. This time, the case and strap come in a clear teal green finish, giving the watch a bright, translucent look. A blue strap keeper, red G button, and lavender base beneath the display add even more contrast.
The dial keeps the energetic styling associated with Jae Tips. Three circular display areas are surrounded by colorful rings, echoing design elements from the first collaboration. The watch also includes the designer’s signature flower motif, along with the phrase “Forever on some fly” beneath the display.
One of the standout features is the custom backlight. When activated, it reveals a “Savior” graphic, adding a hidden design detail that collectors and fans will likely appreciate.
The packaging has also been designed to match the theme of the watch. Buyers will receive a green flower-covered tin featuring the Jae Tips flower logo on the lid, along with a matching box inspired by the collaboration’s “What Time You On?” name.
The first Jae Tips G-Shock, known as the DW6900JT25-2, launched at ComplexCon Las Vegas last year with a retail price of $150. It later received additional releases through Savior Worldwide and Casio’s U.S. store before selling out.
At the moment, Casio and Jae Tips have not confirmed the official price or model number for “What Time You On? 2.0.” If this launch follows the same rollout as the original version, a wider release could arrive several weeks after the ComplexCon debut.
With its translucent teal case, colorful accents, custom backlight, and limited preorder launch, the Casio x Jae Tips G-Shock “What Time You On? 2.0” is shaping up to be one of the more eye-catching G-Shock collaborations of the year.
