Casio Expands Its G-Shock GravityMaster Lineup With Three New GWR-B3000 Watches
Casio has officially introduced three new G-Shock Master of G GravityMaster watches in Japan, bringing a fresh mix of premium materials, aviation-inspired functionality, and rugged durability to the brand’s popular tough watch lineup. The new models, known as the GWR-B3000-1A, GWR-B3000A-2A, and GWR-B3000B-8A, are expected to launch in Japan first before arriving in additional global markets.
The new Casio G-Shock GWR-B3000 series is designed for users who want a high-performance analog watch that can handle demanding environments while still offering a refined, modern look. Each model features a carbon fiber-reinforced resin and stainless steel case, giving the watches a strong yet relatively lightweight structure. The case measures 56.7 x 47.3 x 14.1 mm, or around 2.23 x 1.86 x 0.56 inches, making it substantial on the wrist without being overly bulky for a Master of G model.
All three watches use a three-hand analog layout supported by multiple indicator dials, creating a technical design that fits the GravityMaster theme. Casio has also equipped the series with sapphire crystal, a premium choice that improves scratch resistance and durability. A soft urethane band is included for comfort, making the watches suitable for both daily wear and more active use.
The GWR-B3000-1A is the most classic-looking option in the lineup. It comes with a black dial and black strap, paired with a silver-colored metal bezel and a bright neon yellow accent for added contrast. The GWR-B3000A-2A offers a bolder appearance with a blue dial, blue strap, and blue ion-plated bezel. For those who prefer a stealthier style, the GWR-B3000B-8A features a dark gray dial, strap, and bezel for a more understated finish.
Inside, the Casio G-Shock GWR-B3000 series runs on the brand’s Tough Mvt.2 system. This upgraded movement includes magnetic field detection, shock detection, and automatic hand home position correction. These features help keep the watch accurate and reliable, even when exposed to rough handling or challenging conditions.
The watches also support radio-controlled timekeeping through Multiband 6, allowing them to receive calibration signals in supported regions for improved accuracy. Bluetooth connectivity adds another layer of convenience, letting users pair the watch with the Casio Watches app. Through the app, wearers can access features such as automatic time adjustment and a flight log, making the GWR-B3000 especially appealing for frequent travelers and aviation enthusiasts.
The new GravityMaster models support 38 time zones, making them practical for international use. On-watch tools include a 1-second stopwatch, a countdown timer of up to 24 hours, and a daily alarm. As expected from a Master of G model, durability is a major focus. The GWR-B3000 series features Triple G Resist construction, meaning it is built to withstand shock, vibration, and centrifugal force. It also offers 200-meter water resistance, making it suitable for swimming and other water-related activities.
Another key feature is Tough Solar charging. This allows the watch to draw power from sunlight and indoor light, helping extend battery life and reducing the need for frequent charging or battery replacement.
Casio plans to release the G-Shock Master of G GravityMaster GWR-B3000-1A, GWR-B3000A-2A, and GWR-B3000B-8A in July 2026. In Japan, pricing starts at ¥110,000, which is approximately $688, for the GWR-B3000-1A. The blue GWR-B3000A-2A is priced at ¥126,500, or around $791, while the dark gray GWR-B3000B-8A will cost ¥137,500, or about $860.
With its combination of carbon fiber-reinforced construction, sapphire crystal, solar charging, Bluetooth connectivity, Multiband 6 timekeeping, and Triple G Resist protection, the Casio G-Shock GWR-B3000 series looks set to become a strong addition to the GravityMaster family. For fans of rugged aviation-style watches, these new models offer a compelling blend of toughness, premium design, and practical travel-focused features.
