Bradley the Badger

Bradley the Badger Finds a Fresh Home with Focus Entertainment

Focus Entertainment has teamed up with Day 4 Night Studios to bring Bradley the Badger to players, an imaginative action-adventure platformer that blends comedy, creativity, and genre-hopping chaos.

Bradley the Badger comes from a studio led by respected game industry veterans Christian Cantamessa, known for his work on Red Dead Redemption, and Davide Soliani, best known as the creative force behind the Mario + Rabbids series. With that kind of talent behind it, the game is already shaping up to be one of the more unusual and intriguing platformers on the horizon.

First revealed during The Game Awards last year, Bradley the Badger puts players in the paws of Bradley, a cheerful mascot character who suddenly becomes trapped inside a series of unfinished video game worlds. Instead of exploring a single consistent universe, Bradley is thrown into a strange collection of incomplete levels inspired by different gaming genres.

These worlds are designed with a playful sense of parody. Players can expect to see twisted takes on familiar gaming styles, including dark fantasy settings, futuristic cyberpunk shooter environments, and other recognizable genre-inspired locations. The result is a game that appears to celebrate video game culture while also poking fun at its most familiar tropes.

What makes Bradley the Badger stand out is its creative approach to gameplay. This is not just a standard action-platformer built around jumping, dodging, and fighting. Players will be able to manipulate objects and environments in real time, opening the door to a more flexible and experimental style of play.

Objects can be enlarged, shrunk, duplicated, made explosive, or transformed into useful tools and vehicles. This gives players multiple ways to solve puzzles, overcome enemies, and explore each level. Rather than forcing a single solution, Bradley the Badger seems focused on giving players room to experiment and create their own path forward.

That sandbox-style design could make each encounter feel different depending on how players choose to interact with the world. A simple object might become a weapon, a platform, a vehicle, or a key part of a puzzle solution. This emphasis on creativity may help the game appeal to fans of action-adventure games, puzzle platformers, and physics-driven sandbox experiences.

The game also features notable talent on the audio side. Actor Evan Peters provides the voice of Bradley, adding personality to the game’s charming lead character. Meanwhile, Grant Kirkhope, the celebrated composer behind several beloved video game soundtracks, is creating the music. His involvement suggests the adventure will have a lively and memorable sound to match its offbeat worlds.

Focus Entertainment has not yet announced a release date for Bradley the Badger, but the game is already available to add to wishlists on Steam. With its mix of platforming, environmental manipulation, genre parody, and veteran creative talent, Bradley the Badger is quickly becoming a title worth watching for fans of inventive action-adventure games.
