Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Gen Unveiled: Price, Key Specs, and Launch Date Confirmed

Bose has introduced the Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Gen, a fresh update to its open-ear wireless earbuds designed for people who want rich audio without blocking out the world around them.

The new Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Gen arrive with Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, offering a more modern wireless experience for users who stream music, take calls, or switch between devices throughout the day. They also support Snapdragon Sound with aptX, which should help deliver improved audio quality and more reliable performance on compatible devices.

Bose is also giving listeners more control over their sound with EQ support. This means users can fine-tune the listening experience to better match their preferences, whether they want stronger bass, clearer vocals, or a more balanced sound profile.

For Android users, the earbuds include several useful features aimed at convenience and everyday practicality. Google Fast Pair makes setup quick and simple, while Google Find Hub and Find My Android support can help users locate their earbuds if they misplace them.

The Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Gen retain an IPX4 rating, meaning they are protected against splashes and light sweat. While this makes them suitable for daily use and casual workouts, they do not match the stronger IP54 protection found on Bose’s newly announced Sport Open Earbuds.

Bose will offer the Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Gen in four main color options: Black, Cherry Chocolate, Olive Green, and White. A fifth color, Sky Pink, will also be available, but only in select markets and not in the United States.

The earbuds are scheduled for general availability starting October 1. However, My Bose members can order the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Gen early, giving loyal customers the first chance to get their hands on the latest model.

With open-ear comfort, updated wireless technology, customizable sound, and helpful Android-friendly features, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 2nd Gen are positioned as a strong option for listeners who want premium audio while staying aware of their surroundings.
