Devolver Digital is bringing Ball x Pit to phones and tablets, giving iOS and Android players a new way to jump into the brick-breaking roguelite that earned overwhelmingly positive feedback after its October 2025 debut.
Originally released on Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and macOS, Ball x Pit is now officially locked in for a mobile launch. The announcement came via social media from the game’s official account and Devolver Digital, confirming that Ball x Pit Mobile Edition arrives March 12, 2026.
Ahead of release, the game is already showing up on both the App Store and Google Play Store with pre-orders available. The mobile version is designed to be easy to try: players can download and test it for free with no ads. To access the complete game, there’s a one-time $10 unlock.
That price also undercuts the standard cost on other platforms, where Ball x Pit launched at $14.99. There’s also a limited-time discount mentioned for PlayStation 5 players, with a lower price offered until February 26.
For players who like experimenting with portable setups, there’s another option floating around in the community. If you already own Ball x Pit on Steam and you have an Android device, you may be able to run it using a PC emulator app. At least one user has shared working settings for running the game on a Retroid Pocket 5 through an emulator, suggesting that handheld Android devices could potentially handle the game with the right configuration.
With a confirmed March release date, a free no-ads trial, and a one-time purchase to unlock the full experience, Ball x Pit Mobile Edition is shaping up to be a solid pick for anyone who wants a fast, roguelite brick-breaker they can play on the go.
