The newly announced Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is planned for release in 2026. This enhanced version will include the complete trilogy in one package: Azure Striker Gunvolt, originally released in 2014, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 from 2016, and Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 from 2022. The collection also comes packed with all previously released downloadable content, making it a complete entry point for newcomers and a convenient upgrade for longtime fans.
One of the biggest additions in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is improved technical performance. The game will support higher framerates and enhanced resolution displays, giving the trilogy a smoother and sharper presentation. For a series built around quick movement, precision attacks, and stylish combat, these upgrades should make the action feel even more responsive.
The release will also introduce a brand-new story mode titled Azure Striker Gunvolt GX. This new mode will let players control a tag-team duo made up of Gunvolt and Copen, two fan-favorite characters known for their unique combat styles.
