AYANEO, in collaboration with Qualcomm, has unveiled its latest lineup of handheld gaming devices featuring the cutting-edge Snapdragon G3 gaming platform. These new releases promise powerful gaming experiences, offering smooth 1080p performance and modern controls.
At the ChinaJoy event, AYANEO presented its new handheld models, all equipped with the latest gaming technology. Known for its previous use of AMD’s SoC in its top-performing devices, AYANEO’s partnership with Qualcomm brings the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 SoC into the mix, complete with an 8-core Kryo CPU and Adreno A33 GPU for intense gaming sessions.
These devices not only pack impressive hardware but also come with the latest connectivity options like WiFi 7. A standout in the new lineup is the Pocket S2 Pro, an upgraded version of the Pocket S handheld. While the Pocket S utilized the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2, the S2 Pro is built on the latest Gen 3 platform. This model features a slightly larger 6.3-inch screen with a 1440p resolution and a durable CNC arc aluminum chassis. It also boasts a significant battery life improvement with a 10,000 mAh capacity, compared to the Pocket S’s 6000 mAh battery.
Next up is the Pocket DS, reputedly the world’s first flip dual-screen Android handheld. It shares design similarities with the AYANEO FLIP but runs on the Snapdragon G3 platform. It offers a 1080p 7-inch display with a high 165Hz refresh rate, enhancing the gaming experience.
Finally, under the sub-brand KONKR, the Pocket FIT debuts, offering the Snapdragon G3 platform at 20W. This model is similar to the Pocket EVO and is available in Black, White, and Yellow. It comes with a vibrant 1080p 6-inch 144Hz screen and a robust 8000 mAh battery for extended playtime.
These new handhelds by AYANEO set a high bar for portable gaming, boasting sleek designs, powerful performance, and improved battery life, appealing to gaming enthusiasts looking for on-the-go entertainment.
