Award-Winning Kung Fu Hit Comes to Mobile While PC Version Drops 75%

Sifu Mobile Launches October 12, Bringing Its Award-Winning Kung Fu Action to Android and iOS

Sifu is finally making the jump to mobile. The acclaimed kung fu action game from Sloclap, published by Kepler Interactive, is set to launch on Android and iOS on October 12, giving mobile players a chance to experience one of the most stylish and challenging beat ’em up games of recent years.

Originally released in February 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, Sifu later expanded to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Since then, the game has built a strong reputation for its intense hand-to-hand combat, cinematic presentation, and unique aging mechanic. It has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide and earned recognition for being both rewarding and brutally difficult.

Sifu follows a young martial artist on a path of revenge after the murder of his father. While the revenge story may sound familiar, the game sets itself apart with a clever twist: every time the main character dies, they return older and stronger. However, aging comes at a cost. As the protagonist grows older, their health decreases, making every mistake more dangerous. If they become too old and fall again, the run ends, forcing players to begin again and sharpen their skills.

This system gives Sifu a powerful sense of progression. Players are not just unlocking moves or memorizing enemy patterns; they are learning how to fight better with every attempt. Timing, positioning, dodging, parrying, and counterattacking all play a major role in survival. The result is a fast-paced martial arts experience that feels punishing at first but deeply satisfying once mastered.

The mobile version of Sifu will include touch controls designed for smartphones and tablets. For players who prefer a more traditional setup, full controller support will also be available. That means users can play with a compatible mobile gamepad or an Android handheld device for a console-like experience on the go.

Alongside the main story campaign, Sifu also includes additional modes that add more replay value. Training mode allows players to practice moves and improve their combat rhythm, while arena mode offers a range of combat challenges for those who want to test their skills beyond the main storyline.

Sifu’s arrival on mobile is a major release for action game fans who want a premium experience without relying on cloud gaming or unofficial methods. With native support for Android and iOS, the game should be more accessible to players who have been waiting to try its intense kung fu combat on a portable device.

Sifu launches on the App Store and Google Play Store on October 12 for $7.99. For players who prefer the PC version, it is also currently available at a discounted price on Steam.
