Asus Mini PC Featuring AMD Strix Halo Makes an Appearance Online

Asus appears to be gearing up to unveil a groundbreaking mini PC set to feature AMD’s formidable Ryzen AI Max Plus 395, one of the most powerful laptop chips they have to offer. This upcoming device, codenamed NUC14LNS, could be introduced under Asus’s ExpertCenter lineup.

Hints emerged during an insightful conversation with AMD’s Ben Conrad, where it was suggested that the potent Strix Halo chips would expand their reach beyond laptops and tablets. Now, an intriguing discovery by a keen observer has revealed an Asus mini PC equipped with this powerhouse chip.

The mini PC carries the Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 Strix Halo chip, complemented by a Radeon 8060s integrated GPU. Simultaneously, Asus has developed a similar model under the same codename, NUC 14 Pro AI+, but with an Intel Lunar Lake chip, the Core Ultra 9 288V. Despite these developments, the final version might not retain ‘NUC’ in its name due to its association with Intel.

Interestingly, the device’s shipment dates back to last year, indicating Asus has been crafting this innovation for some time. It has even made it to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for testing, suggesting that its release may not be far off. However, its absence from the CES lineup hints that the product might still be in the refining stages before it is fully ready for market.

This forthcoming mini PC could offer a dynamic computing solution, packed with exceptional processing power and innovative features, heralding a new era of mini PC offerings. As excitement builds, enthusiasts and tech aficionados alike anticipate its impact in expanding the versatility and performance of compact computing solutions.
