ASUS Rolls Out Beta BIOS Update to Improve CXMT DDR5 Memory Support on AMD Motherboards
ASUS has released a new Beta BIOS update for several AMD 600 and 800 series motherboards, bringing improved support for DDR5 memory modules built with CXMT chips. The update is aimed at boosting memory compatibility, improving system stability, and helping users reach better DDR5 performance on supported AMD platforms.
CXMT-based DDR5 memory has been gaining attention quickly in the PC hardware market. Not long ago, these memory modules were often limited to around 6000 MT/s, but recent tuning from motherboard makers has pushed them much further. Some vendors have already shown CXMT DDR5 running beyond 8000 MT/s, marking a major improvement for a memory platform that is becoming increasingly competitive.
ASUS has been among the companies working to improve CXMT memory performance. The company has already demonstrated CXMT-based DDR5 reaching speeds of up to 8400 MT/s on a B850 motherboard, showing that these modules can deliver strong results when paired with the right BIOS tuning and hardware support.
