Appulse Announced: A Sci-Fi Roguelite Pinball Shooter Coming to PC
Publisher Raw Fury and developer Le Rado have announced Appulse, a fast-paced sci-fi roguelite pinball shooter headed to Windows PC via Steam later this year.
Appulse blends classic pinball mechanics with arcade shooting, roguelite progression, and tactical movement. Instead of simply keeping a ball in play, players must use flippers, weapons, recoil, and momentum to survive intense battles across futuristic spaceship-themed tables.
Set during a vibrant intergalactic war, the game puts players in command of the Vektor Dynamics fleet as they fight against the Iron Accord. Each run challenges players to master precision movement, build a powerful arsenal, and climb the leaderboards while uncovering the mystery behind the Elysium Event.
One of Appulse’s biggest hooks is its unusual combat system. Players can fire weapons at hostile robots, but every shot has consequences. Weapon recoil pushes the ball in the opposite direction, turning each attack into both an offensive move and a movement tool. Success depends on learning how to combine flipper timing, momentum, positioning, and recoil to navigate the table with skill.
The game also features roguelite-style upgrades that let players shape each run. As players level up, they receive perk choices that can enhance the ball with new abilities, weapons, and bonuses. Each upgrade can change the way a run plays, allowing for different strategies and custom builds.
