Meanwhile, Camera Control brings Visual Intelligence, transforming iPhones into informative tools for identifying places or interacting with objects simply by pointing at them. It seamlessly connects with Google Search or ChatGPT for deeper insights.
Mail applications now come with smart categorization to help prioritize important messages, and a Digest view consolidates messages for efficient browsing.
The Photos app receives upgrades for video viewing, allowing frame-by-frame navigation and settings to control auto-looping playback. Meanwhile, navigating Collections is improved, with options such as Recent Views easily accessible.
Safari enthusiasts will enjoy the new personalization options for the Start Page, enhanced Import/Export features, and improved security through HTTPS Priority.
Additional enhancements include Voice Memos’ new layered recording capability, shared location features in Find My, natural language search in Apple Music and TV apps, and sudoku puzzles in News+ for subscribers.
