Exciting news is on the horizon for Apple enthusiasts! Not only is there a major Mac launch event scheduled for October, but Apple’s also preparing to unveil another highly anticipated product before the year’s end: the next-generation iPad mini. Alongside this, the revamped iPhone SE and the next iPad Air are set to make their debut soon.
A recent report from Bloomberg reveals that the latest iPad mini, codenamed “J410”, is due to hit the market by the close of the year. While specifics about the new mini tablet remain scarce, an upgrade to a more powerful processor beyond the Apple A15 Bionic seems likely, considering the sixth-generation iPad mini launched back in September 2021.
Looking ahead to next year, the iPad Air will also receive an update. Reports suggest Apple is planning to release two models, an 11-inch and a 13-inch version, under the codenames “J607” and “J637”. While the exterior design won’t see major changes, significant enhancements are expected internally. Upgrading from the Apple M2 to the Apple M3 chip is on the cards, along with the introduction of a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Air. This revamped keyboard may feature some of the advanced functionalities seen in the iPad Pro’s keyboard, such as function keys and an aluminum finish.
In early 2024, Apple fans can also look forward to the launch of the fourth-generation iPhone SE, codenamed “V59”. This mid-range smartphone is set to adopt the sleek design of the iPhone 14, complete with a notch, Face ID, and 60 Hz OLED display. What sets this iPhone SE apart will be its incorporation of Apple Intelligence through a modernized processor, aligning it with Apple’s cutting-edge technology.
Stay tuned as Apple continues to push the envelope with its innovative products, promising an exciting lineup to round off this year and kickstart the next. With these upcoming releases, Apple aficionados have plenty to be thrilled about!
