Aoostar Unleashes New MoDT Motherboard: Up to Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, PCIe 5.0 GPU Ready

Aoostar has unveiled the TA95X3D MoDT series in China, a Mobile-on-Desktop motherboard designed to deliver high-end gaming and creator performance in compact builds. At its peak configuration, the board can be paired with AMD’s Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, an APU from the Fire Range lineup that features 64 MB of 3D V-Cache to boost gaming frame rates and overall responsiveness. A more affordable option is also available with the Ryzen 9 9955HX, which retains similar specifications but drops the 3D V-Cache.

The TA95X3D supports DDR5 memory at up to 6000 MT/s across two UDIMM slots. While Aoostar confirms the dual-slot layout, it hasn’t yet specified the maximum supported capacity, leaving room for clarification as early adopters put the board to the test.

For expansion and storage, the motherboard brings next-gen connectivity to the desktop. It supports PCIe 5.0 graphics cards and includes two Gen 5 SSD slots for ultra-fast storage performance, making it a strong foundation for gaming, content creation, and heavy multitasking. On the back panel, users get a versatile I/O selection: six USB ports, DisplayPort and HDMI for integrated display output, and a 5G network port for high-bandwidth wired connectivity. There’s built-in Wi-Fi support with rear SMA antenna connectors, plus 7.1-channel audio to round out a complete small-form-factor setup.

Pricing in China starts at CNY 4,799 (around $673) for the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D configuration. The non-3D Ryzen 9 9955HX version launches at CNY 3,799 (about $532). Aoostar has not yet shared details on global availability.

With laptop-grade Ryzen 9 performance, 3D V-Cache optimization for gaming, PCIe 5.0 readiness, and Gen 5 storage, the Aoostar TA95X3D MoDT series aims squarely at enthusiasts who want desktop flexibility and mobile efficiency in one compact, high-performance platform.
