AOC has unveiled the AGON PRO AGP277QKDC, a new high-end gaming monitor built for players who want extreme refresh rates, OLED image quality, and flexible performance modes. The display stands out as one of the most ambitious additions to the AGON PRO lineup, combining a next-generation Tandem WOLED panel with dual refresh-rate modes designed for both immersive gaming and competitive esports.

The AGON PRO AGP277QKDC features a 26.5-inch OLED panel using fourth-generation Tandem WOLED technology. This newer panel structure is designed to improve brightness, durability, and overall image performance compared to earlier OLED gaming displays. AOC says the monitor can reach up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness, making it suitable for vivid HDR gaming, fast-paced action, and high-contrast scenes where OLED panels typically excel.

One of the biggest highlights is the monitor’s Dual Frame Mode. Users can switch between QHD resolution at 540Hz and HD resolution at an even faster 720Hz. The QHD 540Hz mode is aimed at gamers who want a sharp 1440p image while still benefiting from an exceptionally smooth refresh rate. Meanwhile, the HD 720Hz mode is built for competitive players who prioritize response speed and motion clarity above resolution.

This flexibility makes the AGON PRO AGP277QKDC especially appealing for esports titles, where high refresh rates can make tracking movement and reacting to opponents feel more immediate. At the same time, the QHD mode keeps the monitor practical for visually rich games, daily PC use, and content consumption.

Color performance is another major focus. The monitor covers 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color space and supports true 10-bit color depth, allowing it to display up to 1.07 billion colors. He noted that 540Hz WOLED performance pushes OLED gaming speed into new territory, while the 720Hz mode gives competitive players an even faster option. He also emphasized the updated design language, including the stand, cable management, and desk-friendly features.

The AOC AGON PRO AGP277QKDC is scheduled to launch in September 2026 with a listed price of 699 euros. With its Tandem WOLED panel, 1440p 540Hz mode, 720Hz esports mode, strong color coverage, HDR certification, and premium connectivity, it is shaping up to be one of AOC’s most advanced gaming monitors yet.
