Anticipated Release of OnePlus Ace 5 Pro Before Year-End, Sharing Processor with Upcoming Flagship

In an intriguing development, it seems that OnePlus plans to introduce two smartphones featuring the advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor by the end of 2024. However, one of these models may be exclusive to the Chinese market, serving as an immediate successor to the current flagship.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, equipped with a high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered AMOLED display, a large battery, and up to 24GB of RAM, has been perceived as a long-lasting device in the Chinese market since its launch in June. Nevertheless, according to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, OnePlus is planning to replace this model with a new version in the last quarter of 2024.

The upcoming “Ace 5 Pro” is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, aligning with the anticipated OnePlus 13, which is expected to launch in October 2024 at the earliest. Regarding the standard Ace 5 (or “13R”), which is tipped to succeed the 12R, there are indications that it should also debut by the end of the year. However, there’s concern that it might not be as successful without the Leading Version of the 8 Gen 3 processor.

Overall, it appears that consumers in China will have a wide array of new premium OnePlus smartphones to choose from in the near future.
