Anker Unveils Budget-Friendly USB-C to USB-C Cable for Everyday Charging

Anker Launches Affordable 140W USB-C Cable With Dirt-Resistant Braided Design

Anker has introduced a new budget-friendly USB-C to USB-C cable in China, offering fast charging, a durable braided build, and a lower starting price. The new accessory is listed as the Anker Nano Anti-Dirty Fast Charging Cable, with model number A8060.

The cable appears to be a more affordable alternative to Anker’s higher-power USB-C options while keeping several premium features. It uses a dirt-resistant braided exterior designed to stay cleaner during daily use, making it a practical choice for people who carry cables in backpacks, laptop bags, desks, or cars.

Durability is also a key selling point. Anker says the cable is flexible and built to handle more than 10,000 bends, which should help it survive frequent plugging, unplugging, and travel use. Buyers in China can choose between two lengths: 1.0 meter, roughly 3 feet, and 1.8 meters, roughly 6 feet. The cable is available in four colors: black, white, pink, and blue.

The biggest difference between this new model and Anker’s previous 240W braided USB-C cable is charging power. The Nano Anti-Dirty Fast Charging Cable supports up to 140W output, which is still powerful enough for many smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

According to Anker, the cable can charge an iPhone 17 to 50% in around 20 minutes. It can also charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 chip to 50% in about 25 minutes, making it suitable for users who need quick top-ups during work, travel, or study sessions.

The cable is USB-IF certified and supports major fast-charging standards, including USB Power Delivery 3.1, PPS, and Quick Charge. It also includes an e-marker chip, which helps manage power delivery and protect connected devices. Anker says the cable can switch to trickle charging once a device reaches more than 80%, helping reduce battery stress during longer charging sessions.

In China, pricing for the Anker Nano Anti-Dirty Fast Charging Cable starts at CNY 34.90, which is approximately $5.20. That makes it an attractive option for shoppers looking for a durable, high-speed USB-C cable without paying a premium price.

At the moment, Anker has not confirmed whether the Nano Anti-Dirty Fast Charging Cable will launch in other countries. However, given the growing demand for reliable USB-C charging accessories, especially as more phones, tablets, laptops, and handheld devices move to USB-C, this affordable 140W cable could appeal to a wide range of users if it becomes available globally.
