Anker’s new Prime Charging Base (3 Ports, 150W) is rolling out, with the UK among the first markets to get it. Designed as a home for the brand’s Prime power banks with pogo-pin connectors, this compact dock turns your desk or nightstand into a fast-charging hub that can power up to four devices at once.
The base snaps a compatible Prime power bank into place for up to 150W charging, while three additional outputs handle your daily tech: a 140W USB-C port for high-powered laptops, a 100W USB-C port for tablets and phones, and a 22.5W USB-A port for accessories. Total combined output tops out at 150W when multiple devices are plugged in. For context, Anker says the Prime Power Bank (26K, 300W) can reach 50% in about 21 minutes on the dock, and the newer Prime Power Bank (20K, 220W) is also supported.
Smart touches make the dock feel seamless in everyday use. An integrated status light lets you know when the power bank is charging, and pass-through charging means you can fill the docked power bank while powering other devices at the same time. ActiveShield 4.0 provides thermal protection, while PowerIQ 4.0 intelligently allocates wattage so each device gets the fastest safe charge.
Bluetooth connectivity adds a layer of control and insight. Pair the base with the Anker app to monitor charging in real time and receive over-the-air firmware updates that can improve performance or add features over time.
Despite the power on tap, the footprint is modest at 103 x 103 x 23 mm and about 450 g, making it easy to fit into tight setups or move between rooms.
In the UK, the Prime Charging Base (3 Ports, 150W) is available now for £84.99 at Amazon and £85.00 via the company’s online store. A power cable and a 24-month warranty are included. Wider availability across Europe and North America is expected, but timing has not yet been announced.
