Anker Laptop Charger Pro Debuts in the US With 100W USB-C Charging and Battery Care Features
Anker has launched its new Laptop Charger Pro in the United States, offering a compact 100W USB-C charging solution designed for laptops, iPhones, and other fast-charging devices. Priced at $59.99, the charger combines high-speed GaN charging with a built-in smart display and new battery health tools aimed at extending the lifespan of connected devices.
Unlike Anker’s earlier 100W smart display charger, which featured three ports, the new Anker Laptop Charger Pro focuses on a single USB-C port. While that means fewer devices can be charged at once, Anker is positioning this model as a more specialized charger for users who want smarter power management, especially for laptops.
One of the biggest highlights is Care Mode. Anker says the charger can recognize certain laptop and iPhone models and automatically adjust charging behavior to help protect long-term battery health. For MacBook users, the charger offers even more flexibility by allowing a custom charging limit between 80% and 100%. According to Anker, using this battery care feature may help extend battery lifespan by up to 40%.
For users who need faster charging instead of battery preservation, the charger also includes Auto Mode. This mode prioritizes quicker top-ups, making it more useful when you need to recharge your laptop, phone, or tablet in a hurry.
The Anker Laptop Charger Pro supports up to 100W output from its single USB-C port, which should be enough for many modern laptops, including MacBook models and other USB-C-powered notebooks. Supported charging profiles include 5V⎓3A, 9V⎓3A, 15V⎓3A, and 20V⎓5A, allowing it to work with a wide range of devices that support USB-C Power Delivery and other fast-charging standards.
Another useful feature is the built-in display. The screen can show real-time charging information such as power output, charging progress, and temperature. It can also display visual animations, giving users a clearer look at what the charger is doing while a device is connected.
Portability is another advantage of the new model. The Anker Laptop Charger Pro measures 2.44 × 1.34 × 2.17 inches and weighs 6.81 ounces, making it smaller and lighter than Anker’s previous 100W three-port smart display charger. The foldable prongs also make it easier to pack in a backpack, laptop sleeve, or travel bag.
The charger is available in dark gray and silver, and Anker includes a USB-C charging cable in the box. At $59.99, it is also $10 cheaper than the older 100W three-port version, making it an appealing option for buyers who prefer battery care features over multiple ports.
The Anker Laptop Charger Pro is now available in the US through major retail channels and Anker’s official store. A European release has not been announced yet.
