AMD has quietly unveiled their latest laptop GPU, the Radeon RX 7800M, featuring 12 GB of VRAM, a powerful Navi 32 GPU, 60 Compute Units (CUs), and a maximum TDP of up to 180 Watts. This new GPU is AMD’s latest addition to the mobile graphics market, poised to challenge Nvidia’s dominance.
The Radeon RX 7800M boasts impressive specifications, including 12 GB of 18 Gbps VRAM on a likely 192-bit bus, achieving a total memory bandwidth of 432 GB/s. Additionally, it features 48 MB of Infinity Cache, 90 Render Output Units (ROPs), and operates at a ‘game frequency’ of 2.145 GHz. It also supports various rendering formats such as H264, H265, and AV1.
