AMD has just rolled out a significant update to its software, enhancing the gaming experience for users by adding the latest RDNA 4 GPU to its database and expanding the list of FSR 4-compatible games. This update, Adrenalin Software version 25.6.1, now officially supports the recently launched Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU, promising improved compatibility and control.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT, based on AMD’s NAVI 44 architecture, is available in 8 GB and 16 GB versions. The update also includes the Radeon AI Pro R9700, a formidable workstation GPU featuring 32 GB of GDDR6 memory. While this software boost offers enhanced compatibility, AMD has noted a few issues that may arise in games like Marvel Spider 2 with Ray Tracing and The Last of Us Part 1. However, classic games like Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny Remaster now benefit from full support.
In addition to bug fixes, AMD has significantly expanded its list of games supporting FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4). Now, more than 55 titles are compatible, with 14 new additions such as F1 25, Star Wars Outlaws, and Stellar Blade. Excitingly, more games like Crimson Desert and Mecha Break are set to join soon. Although AMD’s FSR 4 list is currently smaller compared to NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 offerings, which boast over 125 games, AMD is rapidly catching up.
The current FSR 4 feature is exclusively available for RDNA 4 GPUs, meaning it’s limited to RX 9070 series and RX 9060 XT owners who can enjoy the latest in AMD’s upscaling advancements.
