Alienware Unveils 32-Inch 4K Tandem OLED Display and 25-Inch QD-OLED Gaming Monitor With Blazing 560Hz Refresh Rate

Alienware expands its OLED gaming monitor lineup with the 32-inch AW3226K and 25-inch AW2527HX

Alienware is adding two new gaming monitors to its OLED display family, giving PC gamers two very different options: a premium 32-inch 4K OLED monitor built for immersive visuals and a blazing-fast 25-inch esports display designed for competitive play.

The new Alienware AW3226K targets gamers who want sharp 4K image quality, rich color, strong HDR performance, and the instant response times OLED panels are known for. Meanwhile, the Alienware AW2527HX is aimed squarely at esports players, offering a massive 560Hz refresh rate in a compact Full HD form factor.

The Alienware AW3226K is the headline model for players who want a high-end 4K gaming monitor. It features a 32-inch flat OLED panel with a 3840 x 2160 resolution and uses RGB Stripe Tandem OLED technology. This panel design is built to deliver deeper blacks, cleaner text, improved brightness, stronger color purity, and ultra-fast pixel response.

One of the biggest advantages of the RGB stripe layout is sharper readability compared to some earlier OLED subpixel arrangements. That makes the AW3226K more appealing not only for gaming and HDR entertainment, but also for everyday desktop use, web browsing, productivity, and content creation.

For gaming, the AW3226K offers a native 165Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. The second new model, the Alienware AW2527HX, is built for a completely different kind of player. Instead of focusing on 4K resolution, this 24.5-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor is designed for maximum speed. It features a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and an extremely high 560Hz native refresh rate.

That makes the AW2527HX especially interesting for competitive gaming, where every millisecond can matter. Games such as tactical shooters, battle royale titles, and fast-paced esports games benefit from high refresh rates, quick response times, and low input lag. With a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, this monitor is designed to deliver rapid motion clarity and near-instant pixel transitions.

The AW2527HX also brings OLED advantages to a segment that has long been dominated by fast LCD and TN-style esports panels. With QD-OLED technology, players can expect stronger contrast, vivid colors, and better HDR performance than many traditional competitive gaming monitors.

Alienware lists the AW2527HX with up to 1,500 nits peak brightness and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification. It also uses a matte anti-glare low-reflection coating, which should help reduce distractions in brightly lit gaming setups or tournament-style environments.

For connectivity, the AW2527HX includes DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR13.5 bandwidth. Alienware says this allows full-bandwidth operation without relying on display stream compression. That detail may appeal to competitive players who want the cleanest possible signal path for high refresh rate gaming.

The monitor also includes practical esports-focused features. Dedicated buttons allow users to quickly switch between 4:3 and 3:2 aspect ratios, which can be useful for players who prefer stretched or alternate display formats in competitive games. A built-in headset hanger on the back of the monitor adds a small but convenient touch for keeping a gaming setup organized.

Burn-in protection is also part of the AW2527HX package. Alienware is using graphite heat dispersion, an AI-based pixel-level algorithm, pixel shift, and pixel refresh features to help reduce long-term OLED wear. Like the AW3226K, the AW2527HX includes a three-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in.

Alienware says the AW2527HX was developed in collaboration with Team Liquid professional esports players, reinforcing its focus on serious competitive gaming. The monitor is expected to become available in early Q1 2027, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
