The Taiwanese aerospace giant, Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC), has unveiled an impressive milestone. On Monday, the company announced securing new international contracts in the second quarter valued at NT$2.5 billion (roughly US$85 million). These deals are set to start contributing to revenues by 2025, signaling a promising future for AIDC.
This achievement follows a robust first quarter where the company clinched NT$8.5 billion in new orders, further bolstered by additional successes at the Paris Air Show. All in all, AIDC’s orders for commercial aircraft and engines have soared past NT$10 billion in just the first half of the year.
These developments showcase AIDC’s growing influence in the global aerospace industry and underline the increasing demand for their cutting-edge technology and innovation. The strategic wins position AIDC for substantial growth and reinforce its reputation as a major player on the international stage.
