AI Server Demand Powers Pegatron’s September Revenue Surge

Pegatron’s AI Server Business Gains Momentum as New US Orders Begin Shipping

Pegatron is seeing stronger momentum in its AI server business in 2026, as rising demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure continues to reshape the global hardware supply chain.

Co-CEO Kuang-Chih Cheng recently said that the company has started shipping new AI server orders for a customer in the United States. These shipments are expected to provide a noticeable boost to Pegatron’s September revenue, highlighting the growing importance of AI-related products in the company’s overall business strategy.

The latest development comes as major technology companies continue investing heavily in AI computing capacity. As demand grows for powerful servers capable of handling advanced AI workloads, manufacturers like Pegatron are positioning themselves to capture a larger share of this expanding market.

Cheng also indicated that Pegatron remains optimistic about the long-term growth potential of its AI server division. The company expects AI server revenue to grow by triple digits next year, showing that the business is moving from an emerging opportunity to a meaningful revenue driver.

If current growth trends continue, AI servers could account for around 10% of Pegatron’s total sales. That would mark a significant shift for the company as it expands beyond traditional electronics manufacturing and strengthens its role in the AI hardware ecosystem.

The surge in AI server demand reflects a broader industry trend. Cloud providers, enterprise customers, and AI-focused firms are rapidly upgrading their infrastructure to support generative AI, machine learning, data processing, and high-performance computing. This has created fresh opportunities for contract manufacturers with the scale and technical capability to produce advanced server systems.

For Pegatron, the start of shipments to a US customer could be an important milestone. It not only supports near-term revenue growth but also signals the company’s progress in building a stronger presence in the fast-growing AI server market.

With AI infrastructure spending expected to remain strong, Pegatron’s expanding server business may become one of its key growth engines in the coming year.
