ASE Sets New Revenue Records as AI Demand Fuels Strong Growth
ASE delivered another standout performance in September, reporting consolidated revenue of NT$88.13 billion, or approximately US$2.7 billion. The figure represents a 7.15% increase from the previous month and a sharp 45.52% jump compared with the same period last year.
The September result also marked the company’s third consecutive month of record-high revenue, underscoring the powerful momentum behind advanced semiconductor packaging and testing services. Demand linked to artificial intelligence continues to play a major role, as chipmakers increasingly rely on outsourced assembly and test providers to support more complex, high-performance semiconductor designs.
For the third quarter, ASE posted consolidated revenue of NT$244.161 billion. That was up 27.79% from the prior quarter and 44.84% year-over-year, setting a new quarterly record for the company.
The results highlight how rapidly the semiconductor supply chain is shifting to meet the needs of AI computing, data centers, high-end processors, and advanced chip packaging. As artificial intelligence applications require faster and more efficient chips, the importance of packaging and testing has grown significantly across the industry.
ASE’s strong revenue growth suggests that the company is benefiting from this rising demand, particularly as customers ramp up production for next-generation AI-related products. With three straight months of record sales and a new all-time quarterly high, ASE remains one of the key players to watch in the global semiconductor packaging and testing market.
