Affordable 8GB Version Priced at $666

The anticipation surrounding the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti has just gotten more intriguing with early sightings on German retailer websites. However, don’t let the initial price tags shock you too much—these could change once NVIDIA makes an official announcement.

The listings feature two versions of the RTX 5060 Ti: an 8 GB model and a heftier 16 GB variant. Early figures suggest these graphics cards could hit eye-watering highs of $819 and $895, respectively. Currently, some listings even surpass the expected price of the RTX 5070, hinting that retailers may be preparing for high demands or leveraging placeholders.

While official pricing from NVIDIA hasn’t yet been confirmed, the buzz suggests the RTX 5060 Ti line could mirror their predecessors in price. If this holds true, the 8 GB version may debut at about $399, with the 16 GB option at around $499. Contrarily, German retailers have the ASUS Dual RTX 5060 TI 8 GB pegged at €587 (roughly $666) and even after factoring out a 20% VAT, it’s still positioned ominously close to the RTX 5070’s $549.

Pricing for other 8 GB versions, like the ZOTAC AMP edition, reaches as high as €721, or $819. Meanwhile, the 16 GB edition starts at €693 ($787), with models like the ASUS TUF RTX 5060 16 GB OC listed as high as €749 (approx. $850).

Given these numbers, it’s hard to ignore the steep valuation. Nonetheless, potential buyers should brace for a possible price adjustment upon official release. If current reports hold, the 8 GB model’s price should ideally not exceed €480, and the 16 GB should list for around €600. Enhanced editions with overclocking capabilities could exceed these numbers, but the base models are expected to remain within these ranges.

Amidst these eyebrow-raising figures, it’s worth noting that NVIDIA’s competitor, AMD, might also be walking a similar path with their RX 9060 XT, aiming high in cost for gaming powerhouses. As we await NVIDIA’s official launch of the RTX 5060 Ti lineup in just a matter of days, the gaming community is surely watching closely, eager to see if these price predictions hold true and how they will impact the market.
