The big change is under the hood: both models move to Intel’s latest Panther Lake-H platform, led by the Core Ultra 9 386H. Acer is positioning these machines as Copilot+ PCs aimed at everyday productivity, smarter collaboration, and smoother AI-assisted multitasking.
Performance and storage are clearly a focus with this refresh. The new Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI can be configured with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to a 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD, giving buyers room for heavy browser workloads, content creation, large files, and faster app launches. While Acer hasn’t shared detailed performance claims yet, the Core Ultra 9 386H branding signals that these are meant to sit above the typical mainstream configurations in the Aspire family.
On the display side, Acer is leaning into features people actually notice day to day. The Aspire 14 AI includes a 14-inch 16:10 FHD+ panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 45% NTSC color coverage. These refreshed Aspire AI models come with Acer Intelligence Space, described as a personalized AI hub to help manage and access AI-enabled tools more easily.
