Acemagic G3A compact PC teased with desktop Intel CPU support and dual-slot GPU option
Acemagic is preparing to introduce a new compact desktop PC called the Acemagic G3A, and it could be an interesting option for users who want strong desktop-class performance in a much smaller chassis. The system is scheduled to launch in China on May 30, 2026, although pricing has not yet been announced.
The biggest highlight of the Acemagic G3A is its use of the LGA 1700 platform. This means the compact PC can support desktop Intel 13th Gen and 14th Gen processors, giving it a major advantage over many mini PCs that rely on mobile chips. For users who need more processing power for productivity, content creation, engineering work, or compact workstation setups, this could make the G3A a very capable small-form-factor machine.
Acemagic is also adding dedicated graphics card support, which makes the G3A stand out even more. The company says the system can accommodate a half-height, dual-slot GPU. Professional graphics cards such as the RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell SFF and RTX 2000 Ada are mentioned as supported options, making the PC suitable for workstation tasks. Low-profile consumer graphics cards, including models like the RTX 5060, should also be compatible, giving gamers and everyday power users more flexibility.
Despite using a desktop-class motherboard platform, the Acemagic G3A comes with SO-DIMM DDR5 memory slots instead of full-size desktop RAM slots. This is an unusual choice, but it helps save space inside the compact chassis. For storage, the PC offers two M.2 slots with PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD support, along with one SATA III connector for a 2.5-inch drive. That gives users enough room to build a fast storage setup while still adding extra capacity if needed.
The chassis volume is said to be around 3.46 liters, making the G3A much smaller than a traditional desktop tower. Even with its compact size, Acemagic has included a generous selection of ports. The system features two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two 5Gbps USB Type-A ports, two 10Gbps USB Type-A ports, one 10Gbps USB Type-C port, two COM ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity is handled by WiFi 6E.
Cooling is another key part of the design. Acemagic claims the G3A’s thermal solution can support up to 135W of performance, which is important for a system designed to run desktop processors and dedicated graphics cards in such a small enclosure.
With its combination of Intel desktop CPU support, low-profile dual-slot GPU compatibility, DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen 4 SSD support, and a compact 3.46-liter body, the Acemagic G3A could appeal to users looking for a powerful mini PC for work, creative projects, or space-saving desktop setups.
