8BitDo is giving Forza Horizon 6 fans a slick new way to keep their Xbox controller powered up. The company has unveiled the 8BitDo Charging Dock for Xbox Wireless Controllers – Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition, a matching dock designed to pair perfectly with the Forza Horizon 6 Xbox Wireless Controller Limited Edition while still working with other Xbox wireless controllers.
Created as a collaboration between 8BitDo, Xbox, and Forza Horizon 6, the dock is built for Xbox Series X|S controllers and aims to make charging feel effortless. It uses three pogo pins to deliver power and includes two magnets that help keep the controller firmly seated, so it stays aligned and charging when you set it down.
It’s not just about looks, either. 8BitDo added a handy storage compartment built into the dock, meant for spare batteries, battery doors, and other small controller accessories. That’s a small touch that can make a big difference if you like keeping your gaming setup tidy.
Another standout feature is the adjustable ambient lighting for the LED charging indicator. There’s a button located next to the USB-C port that lets you switch between two brightness levels. The indicator glows amber while the controller is charging, then turns white once it’s fully charged—simple, clear, and easy to see at a glance.
For peace of mind, the charging dock also includes multiple safety protections, including over-voltage protection, overcharge protection, overcurrent protection, and overheating protection.
One of the biggest selling points is what comes in the box. Since standard first-party Xbox wireless controllers don’t include a rechargeable battery, many players end up buying a battery pack separately. With this Forza Horizon 6 limited edition dock, 8BitDo includes a free 1,100mAh NiMH rechargeable battery, along with a battery door and a USB-C cable. While 1,100mAh is lower than the 1,400mAh capacity of the official Xbox rechargeable battery, it’s still a solid bonus considering the dock’s $34.99 price.
The 8BitDo Charging Dock for Xbox Wireless Controllers – Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition is available to pre-order now for $34.99, with shipping set to begin on June 8, 2026. That puts it arriving around a week after the release of the Xbox Wireless Gaming Controller Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition.
