70mai has expanded its global dash cam lineup with the launch of the new A900 series, bringing two feature-packed 4K dual-channel models to drivers: the 70mai A900 and the 70mai A900 Ultra. Designed for clearer road footage, smarter parking protection, and improved night recording, the new series targets drivers who want reliable front-and-rear video coverage with modern safety features.
Both the 70mai A900 and A900 Ultra support up to 4K recording at 30 frames per second, making them capable of capturing important road details such as license plates, lane markings, and street signs. This can be especially useful in the event of accidents, insurance claims, or unexpected incidents while driving.
The biggest difference between the two models comes down to the camera sensors. The standard 70mai A900 uses dual GC8613 sensors, while the higher-end 70mai A900 Ultra is equipped with dual Sony IMX678 sensors featuring Sony’s Starvis 2 technology. This gives the Ultra model an advantage in challenging lighting conditions, particularly at night or in high-contrast scenes.
To improve visibility after dark, 70mai has included its in-house night vision system in both dash cams. The company says this setup helps deliver cleaner nighttime footage with reduced noise and better glare control. Both models also support HDR recording and include 70mai Lumi Vision technology, which is designed to enhance image clarity in difficult lighting situations such as tunnels, rainy weather, bright headlights, and dimly lit roads.
The A900 series is not only focused on video quality. Both dash cams include built-in GPS support, allowing drivers to record driving routes, speed, and location data. They also come with a super-sensing ADAS system, which can provide smart driving alerts to help improve road awareness.
Parking protection is another major highlight. The 70mai A900 and A900 Ultra feature Smart Parking Guardian Mode 2.0, AI motion detection, 24-hour parking surveillance, loop recording, time-lapse recording, and buffered emergency recording. The buffered emergency recording feature can save footage from 3 minutes and 10 seconds before a collision, as well as 30 seconds after impact, offering a more complete record of what happened before and after an incident.
For faster file transfers, both models support WiFi 6 over 5 GHz, with transfer speeds of up to 45 MB/s. This allows users to download video clips more quickly through the 70mai companion app. Drivers can also preview footage directly on the built-in display. The standard A900 includes a 3.18-inch screen, while the A900 Ultra has a slightly smaller 3-inch preview display.
Pricing starts at $199 for the 70mai A900, which is now available through Amazon. The more advanced 70mai A900 Ultra is priced at $239 and is available for pre-order through 70mai’s official store, with shipping scheduled to begin on November 1.
