Thunder Lotus Games is bringing its co-op action-roguelike 33 Immortals to Steam this year, with a launch window set for summer. After building momentum in Early Access and growing its community across multiple platforms, the studio says the Steam release marks a major step forward for the game.
“Bringing 33 Immortals to Steam is an important milestone for us,” said Creative Director Stephan Logier in a press release. “The game has grown a lot through our first five updates, and we’re excited to keep building it with even more players joining the rebellion.”
If you haven’t been following it yet, 33 Immortals has been playable since March 2025 on Windows PC (through other PC storefronts), Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass. The upcoming Steam version arrives as the game continues to evolve, and it will include everything added so far across its first five major updates.
Those updates weren’t minor patches. Since debuting in Early Access, 33 Immortals has expanded with new content, added gameplay features, and a range of quality-of-life improvements designed to smooth out the overall experience. Steam players jumping in this summer will be getting the more complete, more refined version shaped by months of community feedback and iterative development.
At its core, 33 Immortals is built around something you don’t see every day: a 33-player cooperative action-roguelike. You play as a damned soul rising up against God’s final judgment, thrown into fast-paced runs where instant matchmaking pulls a full crowd of players into the same fight. The hook is the scale—massive co-op brawls where teamwork isn’t optional, it’s survival.
Runs revolve around battling through waves of monsters, coordinating with allies, and taking down colossal bosses that demand group effort and smart play. Along the way, you can upgrade your build with powerful relics and long-term progression that carries forward, pushing you to experiment with different strategies as you chase stronger runs. Every session builds toward the bigger goal: enduring the chaos long enough to face the ultimate challenge and fight for your eternal life.
With the Steam release on the horizon and all major updates included, 33 Immortals is positioning itself as one of the more distinctive co-op roguelike games to watch this summer—especially for players looking for large-scale multiplayer action with quick matchmaking and replayable progression.
