Xiaomi Mijia DC Inverter Two-Season Fan Launches as a Smart Tower Fan and Heater in One
Xiaomi has introduced a new Mijia smart tower fan designed for year-round comfort. Called the Mijia DC Inverter Two-Season Fan, the appliance works as both a cooling fan for warm days and a heater for colder weather, making it a practical option for users who want one device for multiple seasons.
The fan features a tall cylindrical design and sits on a round base with a 30 cm diameter, helping it fit easily into bedrooms, living rooms, offices, or smaller apartments without taking up much floor space. It measures 95 cm in height and comes in three color options: grey, black, and white.
For cooling, the Mijia DC Inverter Two-Season Fan offers a strong airflow range of up to 10 meters, with a wide 150-degree oscillation angle to help circulate air across a room. Users can adjust the cooling airflow angle from 30 degrees to 150 degrees, making it suitable for both focused airflow and wider room coverage.
When used as a heater, the fan relies on a 2200W Positive Temperature Coefficient ceramic heating element. In heating mode, the airflow range is reduced to 2 meters, while the airflow angle narrows to 20 degrees for more direct warmth. Xiaomi also gives users 100 heating levels through the Mi Home app, allowing more precise control over room comfort.
The smart tower fan includes three blowing modes: direct mode, natural wind mode, and sleep mode. This makes it flexible enough for daytime use, quiet nighttime operation, or a more natural breeze effect. Xiaomi says the DC brushless motor uses high-quality copper wiring and can run at noise levels as low as 38.4 dB(A), making it suitable for bedrooms and light sleepers.
Another useful feature is the intelligent thermostat. Users can set a preferred room temperature between 18°C and 28°C, and the fan will help maintain that range automatically. There is also a 12-hour timer, which can be useful for overnight heating, scheduled cooling, or saving energy when the device is not needed all day.
Controls are placed at the top of the unit, making them easy to reach while keeping the front design clean. Since there is no bright front display, users do not have to worry about LED lights shining across the room at night. The fan can also be controlled through the Mi Home app for added convenience.
For safety and everyday usability, Xiaomi has equipped the Mijia DC Inverter Two-Season Fan with a dust and hair filter screen, child-lock protection, overheating protection, and a fire-retardant casing. These features make it more suitable for family homes, especially where children or pets are present.
The Xiaomi Mijia DC Inverter Two-Season Fan is currently available in China for CNY 799, which is roughly $120 or €107. At the moment, Xiaomi has not confirmed whether the smart fan and heater will launch in other markets.
With its slim design, app-based controls, quiet motor, cooling airflow, and built-in ceramic heater, the Mijia DC Inverter Two-Season Fan is positioned as a versatile smart home appliance for users who want comfort in both summer and winter.
