Xiaomi’s Groundbreaking Tablet to Feature Lightning-Fast Charging Technology

Xiaomi’s upcoming tablet is shaping up to be a game-changer, particularly in the realm of charging speed. A recent leak reveals that this new device will feature faster charging capabilities than any of its predecessors. This tablet, which will reportedly support Xiaomi’s impressive 120W HyperCharge technology, has been certified to draw power from the same top-tier charger used by the high-performing Redmi K80 Pro smartphone.

Introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2025, Xiaomi’s Pad 7 and 7 Pro are the latest editions in the brand’s tablet lineup. However, whispers in the tech community suggest that a more advanced version, possibly called the “Max,” is in the pipeline. This model is predicted to boast superior specifications missing from the initial releases, such as the ultra-fast HyperCharge feature.

Documents recently submitted to China’s 3C regulatory body include the registration of a new tablet, identified by the model number 25032RP42C. The certification highlights the inclusion of an MDY-17-EB power brick, confirming the tablet’s capability to charge at up to a remarkable 20 volts and 6 amps. This development positions Xiaomi’s upcoming tablet as its fastest-charging device yet, capable of eclipsing the already rapid 67W charging speed of the Pad 6 Max.

Beyond charging, this new tablet is rumored to house a substantial ~10,000mAh battery and sport a ~14-inch OLED display—a first for Xiaomi’s tablet series. These premium features are expected to secure its place as one of Xiaomi’s flagship devices in 2025.

For those eager to get their hands on Xiaomi’s existing products, the Pad 7 Pro is currently available in Europe. As Xiaomi continues to push the boundaries of technology, anticipation is building around this new tablet’s official launch.
