The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Photography Kit has made its global debut with a range of features to enhance the photography capabilities of the new Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship. This Photography Kit will be offered both as a standalone purchase and as part of a pre-order package for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra for a price of €199.90.
As Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to markets outside China, they simultaneously launched the Photography Kit, designed to complement their latest premium smartphone. The kit includes an additional battery with 1,500 mAh capacity, providing more power for extended photo sessions.
This announcement came alongside the showcase of other Xiaomi gadgets at this year’s MWC conference, including the Watch 2, a more affordable variant of the Watch 2 Pro, the global editions of the Watch S3, and the Pad 6S Pro 12.4. The Photography Kit builds upon the precedent set by its predecessor associated with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which was not available for global purchase.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is seen as a successor to both the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and with its increased global availability, the decision to offer the Photography Kit worldwide seems a strategic move by Xiaomi to appeal to photography enthusiasts.
For those interested in purchasing the Photography Kit independently, it will be available in the Eurozone starting March 19. The kit enhances the functionality of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra with a two-stage shutter button, a zoom lever, a button dedicated to video recording, and a configurable wheel for fine-tuning adjustments. It also features a 67 mm filter adapter, compatible with ND filters and other filter types, significantly expanding the creative possibilities for users.
