Amidst increasing geopolitical tension and ongoing trade disputes, the US and China have wrapped up a new series of high-level discussions. They have issued a joint statement announcing the adjustment and temporary suspension of recently imposed tariffs. Although limited, this agreement marks a step towards reducing tensions and provides markets with much-needed relief following months of volatility since April 2025.
