Samsung recently unveiled a selection of five new soundbars for the 2024 lineup, including advanced models featuring Dolby Atmos. These soundbars were presented to the public during the exciting World of Samsung event held in Germany.
The array of soundbars demonstrated include the top-tier HW-Q995D and the HW-Q935D, which boast the latest in sound technology. The HW-Q995D comes packed with an 11.1.4-channel capability and Q-Symphony technology, designed to synchronize with Samsung TV speakers to elevate the listening experience. For those looking for a blend of quality and room adaptability, the HW-Q935D is equipped with SpaceFit Sound Pro, which fine-tunes audio output to match the room’s acoustics.
Targeting those who prefer sleek, space-saving designs, Samsung introduced the HW-S810D and HW-S811D, dubbed as ultra-slim soundbars. They feature user-friendly enhancements such as an integrated voice assistant and support for Apple Airplay 2, making streaming and control both seamless and convenient.
A notable addition to the collection is the HW-Q710GD soundbar that supports Dolby Atmos, promising an immersive sound experience that adds height and depth to audio, making it feel like it’s all around the listener. While details are sparse, the inclusion of Dolby Atmos suggests this model will be sought after for those craving cinematic audio quality in their homes.
At the same event, Samsung also displayed its innovative Samsung Music Frame, a speaker that doubles as a decorative piece. This device can showcase art or personal photos, similar to The Frame TV, while also delivering quality sound. When connected with a compatible Samsung soundbar or TV, it utilizes Q-Symphony technology to provide a harmonized audiovisual experience.
Though these new products were presented in Germany, with planned availability starting from April, information regarding their release dates in other markets, as well as their pricing, is yet to be disclosed. Eager consumers are anticipating further details as Samsung continues to expand its audio equipment portfolio, catering to diverse preferences and budgets.
