The hardware prerequisites mean that the feature will be compatible with new AMD Strix Point and Intel Lunar Lake processors. However, the Snapdragon X series will not support Recall, and by extension, desktop users might face limitations as well since many desktop processors lack Neural Processing Units (NPUs). This includes the current-gen Ryzen 9000, which was released without an NPU, and it is anticipated that Intel’s forthcoming Arrow Lake processors may not include NPUs either.
