GALAX and ZOTAC have recently expanded their graphics card offerings with the introduction of new custom models for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060. These GPUs, already established in the market and experiencing increased popularity following price reductions, are now presented with innovative designs to cater to the gaming enthusiasts, especially in the Asia Pacific region.
The GALAX GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Metal Top is particularly striking with its triple-fan, dual-slot configuration that echoes the design aesthetic of the MSI Ventus 3X series. This graphics card is outfitted with three 92mm, 11-blade fans and boasts a substantial heatsink supported by six 6mm heatpipes, all nestled beneath a sleek silver shroud. Aesthetic appeal is further enhanced by a silver backplate featuring a large cut-out to assist with heat dissipation. Technically, the card benefits from a compact PCB design, drawing power from a single 8-pin connector and utilizing a 6+1 phase VRM.
In terms of technical specifications, the Metal Top retains the standard 4352 cores and is available in both 8 GB and 16 GB variants. Power consumption is modest, with TDPs of 160W and 165W for the respective models. Performance-wise, the card operates with a 105 MHz overclock, pushing speeds up to 2640 MHz. Despite its compact dimensions (326x140x44mm), this model commands a slightly elevated price over the standard MSRP, at 3299 RMB in the Chinese market.
ZOTAC’s array presents gamers with a variety of design choices including the Moon Shadow series with its dual-slot and triple-fan structure, available in black and white colorways. For those who prefer something more succinct, ZOTAC also offers the Vespera and Nebulae series, which maintain a dual-slot profile with two fans, and similarly come in a choice of black or white.
The ZOTAC Moon series stands at the high-end spectrum, requiring only a single 8-pin connector, yet rendering a modest overclock of 30 MHz for a speed of 2565 MHz. The 4060 Ti Vespera and Nebulae graphics cards offer a slight bump of 15 MHz above the standard clock speed, achieving 2550 MHz. The same overclocking margin applies to the RTX 4060 Nebulae model. Despite their designer exteriors, these RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 GPUs by ZOTAC are expected to hit the shelves at prices close to the suggested retail value, offering more aesthetic choices to consumers.
These new offerings from GALAX and ZOTAC are set to provide more variety and flair for gamers looking to upgrade their systems with the latest GPUs. With a balance of performance and design, these custom models of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 are welcoming additions to a highly competitive graphics card market.
