This initiative targets customers who have purchased Ugreen power banks lacking the essential 3C certification, which is now mandatory for local flights in China as of a 2023 ruling.

Those who bought a power bank without a 3C logo after August 1, 2023, can now exchange it and receive up to a 50% refund, which could be as much as CNY500 ($70 or €59). Ugreen is facilitating this swap until August 5, 2025, allowing customers to choose from three new models – PB509, PB561, and PB721 – all of which carry the necessary 3C certification, ensuring they’re safe for flight travel.
