At the 2025 CES, Therabody, renowned for its innovative massage guns and wellness devices, unveiled an exciting new venture: an AI-driven digital recovery platform known as Coach. This cutting-edge platform aims to revolutionize recovery and wellness by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, providing users with a uniquely tailored experience that adapts to their individual health and activity data.
Currently, Therabody app users benefit from user-friendly routines, but Coach is set to elevate this by offering a more sophisticated, personalized approach. In collaboration with Garmin, Coach integrates data from smartwatches along with Apple Health, Google Fit, and Strava to curate comprehensive recovery plans based on users’ goals, activity levels, and health metrics.
The essence of Coach lies in its ability to analyze and learn from user data, delivering real-time adjustments and recommendations to enhance athletic performance and promote overall well-being. For example, after you complete a 5K run, Coach might suggest a targeted leg recovery session to alleviate muscle soreness and optimize recovery.
Therabody’s Chief Marketing Officer, John Solomon, highlighted the intent behind Coach: “We’re not just incorporating AI for novelty. Our aim is to address our users’ real challenges. Leveraging Garmin’s extensive data, we’ll uncover insights on how recovery influences performance, reaching a depth of understanding previously unattainable.”
Initially, Coach is designed to integrate with the Theragun, with plans to expand its compatibility to a wider range of Therabody products. This strategic move not only enhances the user experience but positions Therabody at the forefront of personalized wellness solutions.
Stay tuned as Therabody integrates Coach within its app, promising a significant leap in personal health and recovery strategy.
