Motorola’s next foldable flip phone is starting to take shape, and a fresh appearance on China’s TENAA certification database has revealed an early batch of Motorola Razr 70 specs. Listed under the model number XT2657-2, the Motorola Razr 70 is expected to launch alongside the more premium Motorola Razr 70 Ultra, suggesting Motorola’s next Razr lineup could be right around the corner.
According to the certification details, the Motorola Razr 70 will use a large 6.9-inch OLED main display with a 1080 × 2640 resolution. On the outside, it’s also set to feature a 3.63-inch OLED cover screen with a 1056 × 1066 resolution. That outer display is designed for quick interactions like checking notifications, using select apps, and managing common controls without flipping the phone open—one of the biggest reasons foldable flip phones have become so popular again.
Performance-wise, TENAA doesn’t name the exact chipset, but it does confirm an octa-core processor with a top clock speed of 2.75GHz. The listing also hints at surprisingly high-end memory options, including configurations with up to 18GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of internal storage. If these variants make it to retail markets, the Razr 70 could be positioned as a flip phone that doesn’t force users to compromise on speed or storage space.
Camera specs look ambitious for a clamshell foldable. The Motorola Razr 70 is shown with a dual rear camera setup featuring two 50MP sensors. One of those cameras is expected to serve as a telephoto lens, and the certification data points to 3x optical zoom support. For selfies and video calls, the inner foldable display includes a 32MP front camera, giving it a solid on-paper upgrade for creators and daily use.
TENAA also reveals several practical details that matter in everyday use. The Razr 70 is listed with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking and secure authentication. Battery capacity appears to come from a dual-cell setup totaling around 4,500mAh, which could help address one of the most common concerns with slim flip-style foldables: battery life. The phone is also described as measuring 7.2mm thick and weighing 188 grams, indicating a relatively lightweight design for a modern foldable.
Motorola hasn’t confirmed an official Razr 70 release date yet, but the timing is suggestive. The previous Razr 60 series arrived in April last year, and with certification activity now surfacing, a similar launch window for the Razr 70 family seems increasingly likely.
With a big 6.9-inch OLED screen, a sizable cover display, high RAM and storage options, dual 50MP cameras, and a 4,500mAh-class battery, the Motorola Razr 70 is shaping up to be a serious contender in the 2026 foldable flip phone race—especially for buyers who want flagship-style specs in a pocket-friendly clamshell design.
