Suunto Revives Its AMOLED Smartwatch Lineup With an All-New Upgrade

Suunto is bringing back an AMOLED smartwatch in a refreshed release, led by the new Vertical 2 Titanium Limited Edition. While the update is positioned as a new launch, most of what people liked about the model stays the same—making it a familiar option for athletes and outdoor users who want a premium multisport watch with a vibrant screen and strong endurance.

At the center of the watch is a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, designed to deliver crisp visuals and easy readability for workouts, maps, and daily stats. Suunto also pairs that screen with a battery built for long sessions, advertising up to 65 hours of use in performance mode. For runners, hikers, cyclists, and triathletes, that kind of battery life can be the difference between finishing a long event confidently and worrying about charging.

Fitness and training features remain a major selling point. The smartwatch includes more than 115 pre-installed sports modes, covering a wide range of training styles—from gym sessions and intervals to outdoor endurance activities. Suunto also highlights improved heart rate tracking compared to older models, aimed at delivering more reliable data for training load, recovery, and overall performance monitoring.

A practical addition that continues to stand out is the integrated LED flashlight, a feature that’s increasingly popular on adventure-focused wearables. It’s useful for early morning runs, dim campsites, or quick visibility when you don’t want to reach for a phone or headlamp.

This release is also being marketed as highly limited. Suunto says only 1,936 units of the Vertical 2 Titanium Limited Edition will be available worldwide. Sales are set to begin on March 10 through Suunto’s website and selected retailers. Pricing is set at €799 (around $945) including VAT.

For buyers who prioritize an AMOLED sports watch with long battery life, a huge selection of sports modes, and a premium titanium limited-edition build, this Suunto launch is shaping up to be a rare drop worth watching—especially given how quickly limited runs can sell out.
