Suunto Race 3S Launches as a Lightweight GPS Smartwatch Built for Training, Recovery, and Everyday Tracking
The Suunto Race 3S has arrived as a sleek new smartwatch aimed at runners, outdoor athletes, and everyday users who want advanced health and fitness tracking in a compact design. With dual-band GPS, a bright AMOLED display, and all-day wellness monitoring, the Race 3S is designed to balance performance features with a lightweight feel on the wrist.
One of the standout features of the Suunto Race 3S is its upgraded health sensor system. The watch uses six LEDs and four photodetectors to support continuous activity tracking, sleep monitoring, stress tracking, and heart rate measurement throughout the day. For athletes who want even more precise heart rate data during intense workouts, the smartwatch can also be paired with an optional Suunto heart rate chest strap.
Navigation and control are handled through a combination of touchscreen input, a rotating crown, and two physical side buttons. This gives users flexibility depending on the situation, whether they are scrolling through menus after a workout or adjusting settings while on the move.

The Suunto Race 3S carries a suggested retail price of $499. It launches on October 15, 2026, in China and EMEA regions, followed by availability in North America and APAC on October 29, 2026.
