Starlink Now Pays $100 Cash for Referrals Instead of Only Service Credit
Starlink is changing the way it rewards customers who bring in new subscribers. Instead of limiting referral rewards to service credits, the satellite internet provider is now offering direct cash payouts in the United States.
Under the updated Starlink referral program, eligible users can receive $100 deposited directly into their preferred bank account when someone signs up for a new Starlink subscription using their referral link. This marks a major shift from the previous system, where rewards were typically applied as credit toward future monthly service bills.
The move could make Starlink referrals much more appealing, especially in rural and remote areas where satellite internet demand remains strong. Independent installers, local resellers, and customers who frequently recommend Starlink may now have a stronger incentive to help new users get connected.
How Starlink’s $100 referral cash reward works
To receive Starlink referral rewards as cash, users need to update their reward preference inside their Starlink account. The option should appear in the Referral Reward Types menu for eligible subscribers.
Once the cash payout option is available, users can select it and add a preferred bank account. After that, future referral rewards will be sent directly to the designated account instead of being applied as Starlink service credit.

Who is eligible for Starlink cash referrals?
