Samsung is gearing up to expand its range of budget-friendly 5G smartphones in India with the anticipated release of the Galaxy M16 and Galaxy F16. These new models are expected to feature the same mid-range MediaTek processor found in Samsung’s Galaxy A16 5G and boast a stylish triple rear camera setup similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold6.
The Galaxy A16 5G, which utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, has already made waves in the Indian market, offering consumers an affordable yet impressive 5G option. However, Samsung seems to believe there’s room for more devices with these features, setting the stage for the introduction of the M16 and F16 5G.
While official details are still sparse, the existence of support pages for model numbers SM-M166P/DS and SM-E166P/DS on Samsung’s Indian website strongly suggests the forthcoming Galaxy M16 and F16 naming. These models might showcase slight variances from the A16 5G, especially considering the M16 5G’s Geekbench appearance with only 4GB of RAM. This could imply an even more competitive price point upon launch.
Moreover, variations in processors might be part of Samsung’s plans, potentially incorporating the Exynos 1330 into one or both models, providing users with different performance options.
As anticipation builds, Samsung is expected to offer further sneak peeks and official updates on their website, fueling excitement for consumers eager to explore new 5G possibilities at accessible prices.
